In 2025, we are delighted to be marking a truly special milestone—800 years since the Bishop of Lincoln, Hugh of Wells, licensed the first priest in Holbeach in 1225. For eight centuries, All Saints has stood at the heart of our community, offering a continuous Christian presence and a place of worship, welcome, and witness.

We invite you to join us as we launch our year of celebrations on Sunday 2nd February, with a special Candlemas Service at 10:30 am, led by Bishop Nicholas. Candlemas is a time in the church calendar when we reflect on our calling to share the light of Christ with the world—a truly fitting start to this anniversary year. Following the service, we will continue our celebrations with birthday cake and prosecco—because no milestone is complete without a proper celebration!

Throughout the year, a diverse programme of events will offer something for everyone—from music and arts to local crafts, home-grown produce, historical insights, and exciting plans for making our beautiful church even more welcoming for future generations. We encourage you to get involved in whatever way you can.

Whether you’d like to attend an event, volunteer your time, or simply share in the joy of this remarkable anniversary, there will be plenty of opportunities to celebrate together.
