Fairly Traded tea and coffee are served in the Mary Bass Room between 10.00 and 12.00 every Saturday morning. These are lively and popular drop-in facilities, there are often home-made cakes, jams and surplus home-grown vegetables available and it is a good opportunity to catch up with one of the clergy or the churchwardens.
Soup Saturdays
On the first Saturday of each month, we offer a home-made soup, roll and cheese lunch at a cost of £3.50 for church funds between 12.00-1.00. During Lent and in October we hold them weekly in aid of our Lent and Harvest charity.
Sunday Morning Coffee
Tea and coffee are also served after the 10.30 am service on a Sunday morning. This brief gathering can be a good informal way to get to know the regular congregation.
Wednesday Morning Coffee
Tea and coffee are also served after our 9.30 am communion service on a Wednesday morning.
Parish Lunches & Teas
Twice a year we use the Vicarage Garden for a ‘Bring & Share’ Parish Lunch, BBQ or strawberry tea. The most recent one was held in July 2017 to celebrate our curate’s ordination as a priest and her first Sunday Eucharist.
